AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Ocean, Offshore & Arctic Engineering Division - OMAE Houston Chapter Presents DEEPWATER MARGINAL FIELD DEVELOPMENT SHORT COURSE 28 February - 4 April, 2002: 6 Thursday Evenings TIMES: 5:30 - 9:00 p.m. LOCATION: SHELL BELLAIRE TECHNOLOGY CENTER AUDITORIUM, 3737 Bellaire Boulevard (Inside Loop 610) COST: $650.00 ASME members; $750.00 Non-members Emphasis will be on providing insight into the technical and commercial issues and solutions, as well as the decision-making processes, associated with the development of marginal fields in deep water. The course shall focus on actual issues that arise in the development of such fields and shall draw on case studies and practical examples to highlight the significance of the issues, identify the different potential courses of action and demonstrate the reasoning behind each course of action being selected. Cost of the course includes session notes, publications, binders, and sandwich dinner. Each registrant who completes the course may request a Certificate of Completion and CEU credit. Full refunds will be made for cancellations received fifteen days prior to the first meeting of the seminar. Cancellations received after that date are subject to a $150.00 cancellation fee. No refunds will be made after the first meeting. Reservations are transferable at no charge upon written notice received prior to the first meeting. A $100.00 refund will be made to each registrant who applies for ASME membership before completion of the seminar. Proceeds from OMAE Houston courses are used to fund scholarships at universities for Mechanical Engineering students. Registration fees must be paid prior to the first class meeting.
