Kindly note that I discovered a great new resource late last week that you may or may not already be aware of. In the course of tracking down some data, I found that the Canadian government has a 1-800 number with operators standing by to answer any and all questions relating to Canadian industry and regulation. For instance, if you're wondering if any federal agency tracks forestry management licenses, you can simply call to find out (incidentally, the answer is no). This may prove particularly helpful to the lumber and newsprint teams whose interests are naturally weighted toward Canadian production and regulation. The number is 1-800-O-CANADA (1-800-622-6232).
