UPM Kymmene orders second Kaukas mill machine rebuild from Voith

HEIDENHEIM, Germany, Oct. 24, 2001 (press release) -- In March 2000, UPM Kymmene Corporation, Helsinki, Finland, awarded Voith Paper an order for the rebuild of the paper machine (PM 1) and the coating machine (CM 1) at their Kaukas mill. In January 2001, the major Finnish project was concluded with a successful start-up. Just eight months later, UPM Kymmene decided on Voith Paper as the supplier for the rebuild of PM 2 at their Kaukas mill....
