We wanted to make you aware that FERC has issued its Notice of PG&E's
Section 7 "GTrans" Application. Attached is a copy of the notice.

FERC has set a deadline of January 29, 2002 for parties to file a motion to
intervene or to provide comments.

The relevant docket numbers assigned to the application are listed at the
top of the notice.
