Re: Major 2001 Construction Projects

The projects listed below are the major pipeline and station
construction projects that are currently scheduled for the 2001
construction season. Dates and duration of these jobs may change prior
to construction. Additional information will be forthcoming on a
particular job if there are significant impacts to available capacity.

Unless specifically stated to the contrary, the following jobs will not
impact firm transportation. However, based on past summer operating
conditions, it is anticipated that interruptible transportation services
(IT and secondary FT) may be impacted by some of the work. The extent
of the impact will depend on operating conditions at the time of the
outages.

Job No. 1 -
Atchafalaya River, Louisiana, Smart Pig Project
Smart pig 92 miles of Main Line "A" from Compressor Station 45 (M.P.
467.96) near Lake Charles, Louisiana (Beauregard Parish) to near the
Atchafalaya River, Louisiana (M.P. 559.82) (St. Landry Parish). For
part of time during the preparatory work, Texas Gas Eunice M&Rs 3227 and
4314 and Shell Elba M&R 2652 will be out of service. If anomaly work
requires an outage in the related valve sections, the same M&Rs will
again be out of service. Estimated outage timing for preparatory work:
April 19, 2001 to April 28, 2001. Estimated timing for the smart pig
runs: May 1, 2001, and May 3, 2001. Estimated outage timing for anomaly
repair, if required: June 2, 2001, to August 18, 2001.

Job No. 2 -
Amite River, Louisiana, Smart Pig Project
Smart pig 33 miles of Main Line "A" from near the Mississippi River,
Louisiana (M.P. 583.17) (West Feliciana Parish) to the Amite River,
Louisiana, (M.P. 616.09) (East Feliciana Parish). Estimated outage
timing for preparatory work: April 7, 2001, to April 13, 2001. Estimated
timing for the smart pig runs: April 17, 2001, and April 18, 2001.
Estimated outage timing for anomaly repair, if required: May 5, 2001, to
June 1, 2001.

Job No. 3 -
Magnolia, Mississippi, Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) Hydrostatic Test
Perform SCC hydrostatic test on 14 miles of Main Line "A" between
Compressor Station 65 near Greensburg, Louisiana (M.P. 626.53) (St.
Helena Parish) and Compressor Station 70 near Tylertown, Mississippi
(M.P. 661.67) (Walthall County). During the entire period of this work,
McComb Transport Out M&R 4483 and Koch Magnolia Exchange Out M&R 4150
will be out of service. Estimated outage timing: August 20, 2001, to
August 29, 2001.

Job No. 4 -
Compressor Station (Various) Piping Modifications
Modify piping at the following compressor stations: Compressor Station
90 near Sweetwater, Alabama (M.P. 811.13) (Marengo County) with a three
day outage between March and April 2001; Compressor Station 110 near
Wadley, Alabama (M.P. 969.48) (Randolph County) with a one day outage
between April and June 2001: and Compressor Station 140 near Moore,
South Carolina (M.P. 1205.80) (Spartanburg County) with a one day outage
between May and July 2001.

Job No. 5 -
Sundance Expansion Project
Work on the Sundance Expansion Project will result in brief outages at
several compressor stations and pipeline segments between September 2001
and November 2001. Outages will occur to tie-in or modify piping at
Compressor Station 105 and Main Lines "A" and "B" near Rockford, Alabama
(M.P. 927.06) (Coosa County); Compressor Station 115 and Main Lines "A"
and "B" near Newnan, Georgia (M.P. 1007.55) (Coweta County); Compressor
Station 125 and Main Lines "A" and "B" near Monroe, Georgia (M.P.
1085.97) (Walton County); Compressor Station 145 and Main Line "C" near
Grover, North Carolina (M.P. 1247.03)(Cleveland County); and Compressor
Station 150 near Mooresville, North Carolina (M.P. 1287.11)(Iredell
County).

Job No. 6 -
Newnan, Georgia, Pipe Replacement Project
Replace pipe on Main Lines "A", "B", "C", and "D" between Compressor
Station 115 near Newnan, Georgia (M.P. 1007.55) (Coweta County) and
Compressor Station 120 near Stockbridge, Georgia (M.P. 1048.34) (Henry
County). Estimated outage timing: April 17, 2001, to July 21, 2001.

Job No. 7 -
Stockbridge, Georgia, Hydrostatic Test Project
Perform hydrostatic tests on Main Lines "B" and "C" between Compressor
Station 115 near Newnan, Georgia (M.P. 1007.55) (Coweta County) and
Compressor Station 120 near Stockbridge, Georgia (M.P. 1048.34)(Henry
County). Estimated outage timing: April 17, 2001, to May 11, 2001.

Job No. 8 -
North Georgia Extension Relocation Project
Pipe relocation in last valve section (Gwinnett County) at end of North
Georgia Extension lateral, lateral originates at Compressor Station 125
near Monroe, Georgia (M.P. 1085.97) (Walton County). For the entire
period of the outage, the City of Lawrenceville, Lawrenceville M&R 7013,
the Atlanta Gas Light Suwanee M&R 7203, the City of Buford, West Buford
M&R 7197, and City of Sugar Hill M&R 7217 will be out of service.
Estimated outage timing: August 27 and August 28, 2001.

Job No. 9 -
Compressor Station 130 Compressor Replacement
Replace compressor at Station 130 near Comer, Georgia (M.P. 1124.7)
(Madison County). Estimated outage timing: September 1, 2001, to
September 7, 2001.

Job No. 10 -
Mooresville, North Carolina, Pipe Replacement Project
Replace pipe on Main Lines "A", "B", and "C" between Compressor Station
145 near Grover, North Carolina (M.P. 1247.03)(Cleveland County) and
Compressor Station 150 near Mooresville, North Carolina (M.P.
1287.11)(Iredell County). Estimated outage timing: May 1, 2001, to
October 5, 2001.

Job No. 11 -
Lexington, North Carolina, Pipe Replacement Project
Replace pipe on Main Lines "A" and "B" between Compressor Station 150
near Mooresville, North Carolina (M.P. 1287.11) (Iredell County) and
Compressor Station 155 near Lexington, North Carolina (M.P. 1326.11)
(Davidson County). Estimated outage timing: July 10, 2001, to July 25,
2001.

Job No. 12 -
Lexington, North Carolina, Pipe Replacement Project
Replace pipe on Main Lines "A" and "B" between Compressor Station 155
near Lexington, North Carolina (M.P. 1326.11) (Davidson County) and
Compressor Station 160 near Reidsville, North Carolina (M.P. 1369.40)
(Rockingham County). Estimated outage timing: April 10, 2001, to June
30, 2001.

Lexington, North Carolina, SCC Hydrostatic Test Project
Perform an SCC hydrostatic test on 17 miles of Main Line "A" between
Compressor Station 160 near Reidsville, North Carolina (M.P. 1369.40)
(Rockingham County) and Compressor Station 165 near Chatham, Virginia
(M.P. 1412.99) (Pittsylvania County). Estimated outage timing: April 7,
2001, to April 16, 2001.

Ellicott City, Maryland, Smart Pig Project
Smart pig 71 miles of Main Line "B" from 17 miles downstream of
Compressor Station 180 near Unionville, Virginia (M.P. 1540.37) (Orange
County) through Compressor Station 185 near Manassas, Virginia (M.P.
1583.43) (Prince William County) to Compressor Station 190 near Ellicott
City, Maryland (M.P. 1628.78) (Howard County). Estimated outage timing
for preparatory work: May 4, 2001, to May 9, 2001. Estimated timing for
the smart pig runs: June 19, 2001, and June 20, 2001. Estimated outage
timing for anomaly repair, if required: June 23, 2001, to September 11,
2001.

Job No. 15 -
Unionville, Virginia, Pipe Replacement Project
Replace pipe on Main Lines "A" and "B" between Compressor Station 175
near Scottsville, Virginia (M.P. 1499.39) (Fluvanna County) and
Compressor Station 180 near Unionville, Virginia, (M.P. 1540.37) (Orange
County). Estimated outage timing: May 10, 2001, to June 18, 2001.

Job No. 16 -
Delaware Power and Light Lateral Smart Pig Project
Smart pig 15 miles of Delaware Power and Light Lateral near Coatesville,
Pennsylvania (M.P. 1711.66) (Chester County). If anomaly work is
required, there will be outages at PECO Kennett Square M&R 6182,
Delmarva Power Hockessin M&R 6180, and Eastern Shore Natural Eastern
Hockessin M&R 6195. Estimated timing for the smart pig runs: April 4,
2001. Estimated outage timing for anomaly repair, if required: May 21,
2001, to June 4, 2001.

Job No. 17 -
Sunolin Delaware River Crossing Smart Pig Project
Smart pig 1 mile of Sunolin Delaware River Crossing on the Philadelphia-
Trenton Sales Lateral near Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania (Delaware County,
Pennsylvania and Gloucester County, New Jersey). Estimated timing of pig
runs: April 6, 2001.

Job No. 18 -
Market Link Phase I Expansion Project
Work on the Market Link Phase I Expansion Project will result in brief
outages at several compressor stations and pipeline segments between
June 2001 and October 2001. Outages will occur at the Linden Regulator
Station at Main Line Milepost 1808.19 in Union County, New Jersey, to
modify piping; on Main lines "B" and "C" at Compressor Station 200 near
Frazer, Pennsylvania (M.P. 1722.24) (Chester County) to modify the
station header; at Compressor Station 205 near Princeton, New Jersey
(M.P. 1773.40) (Mercer County) to install a new compressor and to modify
existing compressors; at Compressor Station 517 near Benton.
Pennsylvania (Leidy Line M.P. 115.18) (Columbia County) to install a new
compressor and to modify existing compressors; and near Compressor
Station 520 close to Salladasburg, Pennsylvania (Leidy Line M.P. 157.64)
(Lycoming County) to install a new pipeline loop.

Job No. 19 -
Long Island Extension Smart Pig Project
Perform remedial work and smart pig 12 miles of the Long Island
Extension from the Linden Regulator Station, New Jersey (M.P. 1808.19)
(Union County) to Lateral Milepost 11.57 across the Narrows into Kings
County, New York. At various time there will be outages at PSE&G Piles
Creek M&R 6028, Brooklyn Union Gas Narrows M&R 6062, and Brooklyn Union
Gas Richmond-Narrows M&R 6028. Estimated outage timing for preparatory
work: May 9, 2001, to May 11, 2001. Estimated timing for the smart pig
runs: May 16, 2001, and May 17, 2001. Estimated outage timing for
anomaly repair, if required, and remedial work: June 18, 2001, to June
26, 2001.

Job No. 20 -
Raritan River Smart Pig Project
Smart pig 24 miles of Main Line "A" from near the Raritan River, New
Jersey (M.P. 1794.85) (Middlesex County) through Union County, New
Jersey, to near the Passaic River, New Jersey (M.P. 1819.10) (Essex
County). Estimated timing for the smart pig runs: May 24, 2001, and May
25, 2001.

Job No. 21 -
Paterson Lateral and New Jersey Extension Smart Pig Project
Smart pig 7 miles of the Paterson Lateral, New Jersey (Bergen and
Passaic Counties) and smart pig 19 miles of the New Jersey Extension,
New Jersey (Bergen County). At various times there will be outages at
TGT Rivervale M&R 3091, PSE&G Emerson M&R 6087, PSE&G Paramus M&R 6147,
PSE&G Fairlawn M&R 6091, and PSE&G Paterson M&R 6047. Estimated outage
timing for preparatory work: May 21, 2001, to June 8, 2001. Estimated
timing for the smart pig runs: June 11, June 12, and June 13, 2001.
Estimated outage timing for anomaly repair, if required, and remedial
work: July 9, 2001, to September 1, 2001.
