in preparation for the upcoming Oracle 8i migration a new ERMS application
has been developed. THE OLD RUNM BLUE MENU WILL NO LONGER WORK
when the database is upgraded to 8i.

What is different:

- Most reports can be viewed on the screen using Adobe Acrobat.
- Most reports and forms will now run on the PC and not on capers.
- We have removed a lot of reports and forms that are no longer being used.
- The screens now comes up faster.
- A new report called curveviewer has been added to facilitate curve entry checking

What is the same:

- Your ERMS access
- ALL top page reports
- The Gas Daily Curve shift
- curveview/curveload/batchload program that runs on UNIX.
- We will still provide you the old PortCalc and report screen
that runs on the UNIX in case you do not like the PC version.

Attached is the documentation on how to start the new ERMS-PC application.
You will have to close all of your PC applications and re-boot your PC in order
for the ERMS-PC application to appear on your start menu.
