Monday, January 1 New Year's Day Monday, January 15 Martin Luther King Day Monday, February 19 President's Day Monday, May 28 Memorial Day Wednesday, July 4 Independence Day Monday, September 3 Labor Day Thursday, November 22 Thanksgiving Day Friday, November 23 Thanksgiving Observance (Floating Holiday) Monday, December 24 Christmas Observance (Floating Holiday) Tuesday, December 25 Christmas Day Discretionary Holiday (must be taken in 2001) Based on business unit needs, employees may be asked to work one of the above company observed holidays. This is the first time we have observed this national holiday, and I am certain that many of you will be pleased to know that the executive committee has decided that we will continue to do so in the future. Enron continues to observe 10 holidays each year (including two floater holidays) and provides one additional discretionary holiday for our employees.
