The following are brief descriptions of our new seminars for this month.

(Parts 1 and 2) [3.0 each]

This is another in our series of NBI seminars being offered on our site,
and this one is a very practical seminar for Texas attorneys. This
seminar will provide information on planning and preparing for trial by
selecting a case theme and creating a written action plan. The seminar is
provided in two parts-- Part 1 will focus on the plaintiff's perspective
and Part 2 will focus on that of representing the defendant. Each part
is accredited for 3.0 hours of CLE, including .25 hour in ethics.

Difficult Case in Texas (Parts 1 and 2) [2.0 each]

Also from NBI this month, we are pleased to present this timely seminar
on premises liability law for Texas lawyers. In this seminar, you'll
receive an overview of premises liability law from both the plaintiff and
defense perspectives and come away with a better understanding of using
standards and codes. The seminar is provided in two parts, with each part
accredited for 2.0 hours of CLE (Part 2 includes .50 hour in ethics.)

David Hricik of Austin has produced another new legal ethics seminar that
is specifically designed for government attorneys. This seminar will
explore a variety of ethical and conflicts issues that would affect
lawyers employed by governmental entities. This seminar is accredited
for 3.0 hours of CLE credit, all in the area of legal ethics.


--< Wills, Estates, and Trusts: Case Law Developments in Texas - 2001
[1.0]

Another of our popular faculty contributors, Prof. Gerry Beyer, has
developed this new online seminar to keep Texas estate planning attorneys
up to date on the latest case law developments. This seminar is designed
to discuss the judicial developments during the year 2001 that relate to
the Texas law of intestacy, wills, estate administration, trusts, and
other estate planning issues. This seminar is accredited for 1.0 hour of
CLE credit (no ethics.)
