IPE Brent Focus: IPE Brent marginally lower Friday, seeking consolidation May futures traded at $20.80/bbl at the same time, off 18 cts on the day. Volume for April was 4,216 lots. Earlier in the week April futures had soared higher to peak at $21.53/bbl, from a low of $19.75/bbl the same day. OIL: Western US senators tout energy trading bill Three Western US senators unveiled legislation Thursday designed to make energy trading more transparent and announced their intent to offer the measure as an amendment to the broad energy bill that the Senate plans to debate Friday.
