Re: Sentinel Expansion Project

Transco is developing an expansion of its pipeline system
in the Northeast U.S., referred to as the Sentinel
Expansion Project, and is considering market-area receipt
points at Leidy, Pennsylvania, and the Cove Point LNG
facility in Cove Point, Maryland. While preliminary
analysis indicates that the project capacity would be
approximately 250 Mdt/d at an estimated capital cost of
up to $300 million, the ultimate project design and capital
cost will largely depend on the results of an open season
for the project. Transco is contemplating a target
in-service date for the project of November 2004.
