Thanks to everyone for your help and support this past week as we worked through the process of taking the new spreadsheet format (requiring the use of the Counterparty ID instead of the ERMS Short Name) into production. The credit for a successful implementation goes to each and everyone of you!

Going forward, please bear the following points in mind:
1) There is a minor change to the manner in which the spreadsheets will load into RisktRAC: If the new validation routine does not find any errors in your spreadsheet, it will immediately load the positions into RisktRAC without prompting you to confirm and insert the spreadsheet into our tables. When you see the final confirmation message, the position has already been loaded into our deal tables.

2) Please make sure that you have only numeric values, i.e., valid counteparty ID's, in column F (external_cp_ID) and column G (internal_cp_ID). Any alpha values in these two colums will produce a fatal error and the system will not accept your spreadsheet until you input a valid counterparty ID.

3) Please obtain access to the Global Counterparty system to look up valid Counterparty ID's for any new counterparties that you might add to your spreadsheet in the future.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me: 5-7069.

Thank you.

Sue Vasan.
