OC Approval of Locational ICAP Requirements

Today, the Operating Committee approved the Locational
Installed Capacity Requirements for the NYCA covering the
period May 1, 2002 through April 30, 2003.

The NYISO report "Locational Installed Capacity Requirements
Study Covering the New York Control Area for the 2002 - 2003
Capability Year" has been re-posted to the NYISO web-site.

The following revisions have been made to the 2/15/2002
posting of this report:

1) In Table 2, the peak load, ICAP LCR and UCAP LCR for
New York City and Long Island have been revised
to correct typos in the peak load values that effect the
calculation of the ICAP LCR and UCAP LCR

2) An explanation has been provided for the large
reduction in the Long Island locational requirements
