The DOE showed a crude build of 2.7-mil bbl, higher than the API's 845,000 bbl build. Crude imports, the surprise of the API report, were 9.2-mil b/d, slightly lower than the API's 9.6-mil b/d figure. IPE Brent Focus: IPE Brent crude suffers light losses early Thursday Front-month March Brent stood at $19.10/bbl at 1052 GMT, having shed 9 cts from Wednesday's settlement. March futures have traded in a narrow 19 cts range so far Thursday, having opened at $19.19/bbl, the high of the day. March IPE gasoil futures rose by 25 cts to trade at $162.50/mt at the same time.
