Richard, could you provide me with some information on where we are with the
retention policy? My last understanding from you was you were going to work
on the wording a bit and then get back with me. As you can see below we are
at risk from a legal perspective on these cases until we get this policy in
place.

Here is yet another request for e-mail from a long time ago. Apparently EI
has these old tapes somewhere (at least Roberto and the users think they
do). Any word from Richard Sanders?

Subject: EE&CC Litigation Requirements

Chris,

Gail Brownfeld (Senior Counsel) has required that all EE&CC back up mail
files be reviewed and any information pertaining to the following files be
reproduced for the upcoming EE&CC litigation efforts.

1. Any messages TO or FROM the following people that have the "extension"
@bv.com for the time period 1992 to date.

Jim Leblanc
Karl Breckon
Ricky Simon
Frank Hosak
Larry Snyder
Ray McPhail
Bill Fox
John O'Hearn

2. Also, the following people from Black & Veatch worked in the EECC Houston
office in 1995 and had Enron mail accounts. Therefore we would need ANY
email to/from these accounts:

Eric Odenhouse
Gary Townsend
Robert Wood
Bruce Godsey
John Kruse

Ms. Brownfeld indicated that the document review by Enron's outside counsel
has a six week window. This is week two of those six week. Therefore, it
has been requested that this task receive top priority.

Please let me know if you have any questions or require addtional information.
