RE: Clerk Training Rule Enforcement

Please be advised that effective immediately, the Clerk Training rules will=
=20
be strictly enforced. These rules provide that a clerk must successfully=
=20
complete a Clerk Training Course.
Accordingly, if a clerk fails to attend the ENTIRE clerk-training course,=
=20
he/she will be excluded from the trading floor until the next available=20
session in pursuant to these rules.

The ENTIRE clerk-training course consists of the following:

NYMEX DIVISION
Classroom Session:
Tuesday, 9:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M.

TMS Session (Screen Clerks Only):
Thursday, 9:30 A.M.-3:30 P.M.

Re-Exam Session (Exam Failures Only):
The Tuesday following the Exam Session,
9:30 A.M.-12:00P.M.

Exam Session:
The Tuesday following the Classroom Session, 9:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M.

COMEX DIVISION
Classroom Session:
Tuesday, 9:30 A.M.-3:30 P.M.

Exam Session:
The Tuesday following the Classroom Session, 9:30 A.M.-12:00 P.M.

Re-Exam Session (Exam Failures Only):
The Tuesday following the Exam Session,
9:30 A.M.-12:00P.M.

NOTE:
Clerks must attend each session and be on time to class in order to fulfill=
=20
the Clerk Training requirement.

Clerks and their employers will be advised in advance of the Clerk Training=
=20
course the clerks must attend. Consequently, the clerk and his/her employe=
r=20
must make arrangements to ensure the clerk=01,s attendance at each of the=
=20
required sessions.
