Jose Brazil: Aneel's manual for accounting Gazeta Mercantil, 01 Nov 2001, p. a-8:- The Brazilian National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) will present on November 1st 2001 the Electric Energy Public Services Accounting Manual, which rules which will give more transparency about the management to investors, shareholders, consumers and Aneel itself. The rules are according to international accounting practices and include issues related to cash flow, added-value and social balance. Electricity concessionaires and permissionaires will have to follow those rules from January 2002.
