Dear Janette Thanks for your help on the telephone today. Back in Septemeber I introduced myself on email to these two gentlemen. I am the Vice Chairman of our company and I have been working out of our small New York office since June of last year in an effort to generally raise our group profile in USA. Our five business areas could be summarised as follows: RISK MANAGEMENT: Firmament is an intellectual model for the risk process in a financial institution.The areas covered comprise credit, market, liquidity and operational risk management. FirmRisk is a suite of risk management component software all web based used to evaluate market risk, credit risk and VaR as well as providing netting, collateral and P&L analysis. TRADING SYSTEMS: Oberon is an integrated multi-currency trading system for the management of interest rate and FX portfolios. Front to back office functionality for most aspects of money markets, bond markets, foreign exchange and related derivatives such as swaps, caps, swaptions and bond options. Oberon 5 the latest version of our well established Oberon software handles the entire lifecycle from pricing and deal capture to risk management and confirmations. DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT: Image-Gen is an Internet based document and information management system. It enables the user to leverage the power of the Internet, reaching global markets, decreasing operating costs and enhancing relationships with customers and partners. Image-Gen brings together four products and gives a business result which is greater than the sum of its parts. VALUATION SERVICES: ValuSpread is a confidential daily/monthly service providing closing mark-to-market prices in the interest rate derivatives markets. It enables major participants in the credit trading markets to validate against their peers their perceptions of pricing for the credits which they follow. Currently we have about 20 major financial institutions contributing to the service. LOMBARD RISK CONSULTANTS: Provides bespoke training to senior level executives in all aspects of risk management including Basel, collateral, credit methodologies and policies.
