IMPORTANT NOTICE OASIS System Version 2.3 Release The OASIS system (http://oasis.caiso.com) will be unavailable Thursday January 31st, 2002 at approximately 1530 due to the deployment of the OASIS version 2.3 release. Note: This release includes a new version of the XML Schema. If you have any questions regarding the new schema, OASIS support will be on the TSWG conference call on Wednesday, January 30th, at 1:30pm. Call in Number is (877) 670-4111 Passcode 246870. Release notes for this version are detailed below: OASIS Version 2.3 Release Notes Release Date: January 31, 2002 These release notes provide a summary of the new features and system enhancements that have been implemented since the last release. Note: * Upon release of OASIS version 2.3, the new schema version (oasisv002.xsd) must be used in order to validate XML files downloaded from the site. * Please clear all browser cache when accessing the OASIS site for the first time upon release of this version. * If you are using a proxy server, clear proxy cache and verify that our site is added to the exception list to not cache or set cache with a minimum TTL. New Feature Summary Forecasts Tab: Forecasted Line and Equipment Outages * Added a column in this report that indicates the status of the outage record. The Status column will indicate weather the outage record has been inserted or if it has been deleted. * Modified XML structure and Schema to accommodate the addition of the Status Field. See details below. Changes Effecting Customer Automated Interface Development Schema Update: Included in this release is a new version of the XML Schema. This new schema is oasisv002.xsd.
