< NOTICE TO MARKET PARTICIPANTS
< Allegheny Energy Supply is changing their SCID
<
< Effective Trade Date Monday, October 1, 2001 Allegheny Energy Supply
< (currently using APX1) will begin scheduling energy trades and bids under
< the new SCID; APX5. Their OLD SCID 'APX1' WILL NO LONGER BE VALID.
< All of Allegheny Energy Supply's scheduling transactions will use the new
< SCID beginning with submission of Day Ahead schedules for Trade Date,
< Monday, October 1, 2001.
< Any advance schedules that may have already been submitted using the old
< SCID, 'APX1', must be removed (deleted) and rescheduled using the new
< SCID,
< APX5.
